Are Dental Implants painful?
It is very difficult to answer this question absolutely because the pain threshold is different for each patient; but the feedback we have had from most of our patients is that if they had known that this was the case they would have done it before.
Nowadays with computer-guided surgery we do minimally invasive procedures which translates into less discomfort for our patients.
For most patients it is sufficient to apply local anesthesia to avoid any type of discomfort at the time of the procedure but, if necessary our team can improve your well-being by means of the help of relevant medications or application of conscious sedation techniques.
Is there an age limit for the placement of dental implants?

There is no maximum age for the placement of dental implants. The only limitation lies in the state of health of the person. Our implantology team will indicate the necessary tests to verify that your general health allows you to carry out a dental implant treatment. The minimum age for the placement of dental implants is a function of the end of growth. When a person has finished his development he will be able to enjoy the advantages of the implants before it is not recommended.

Not all people end their growth at the same age we will advise you about the specific radiological tests to diagnose the end of growth
